My name is Danny Dwyer. I served in the US Air Force as a Crash Rescue Fire Protection Specialist and in the US Army as a Combat Medic. After serving I became a Deputy Sheriff in Boston and then went on to serve as a Boston Police Officer.
These days I’m a single dad to two teenage boys and now work as an ABA Technician at an elementary school in our hometown.
On Monday, April 18, 2022, I will be running my 6th consecutive Boston Marathon and my 4th as a member of the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Platoon.
I wholeheartedly believe in the mission and goals to:
• Honor the memories of our fallen
• Support a Gold Star Family members
• Empower our Veterans
• Educate our communities
